So I'm sure you all remember my date that didn't happen and how i was really bummed....to say the least. Well......I heard from Mr. No Show, and I'm leaning toward giving him a second chance. I know I know, but here's why.
He says he was in the hospital. Says he went in Wednesday with a pulmonary embolism in his lungs. He said he was fine Wednesday morning but as the day went on he started to feel really bad, he said he thought maybe he was having a stroke, which reminded me of our conversation on Tuesday where he stated he thought his heart was going to jump out of his chest it was pounding so fast. I said it was because he was chatting with me, I have that effect on boys, he thought it was perhaps the dozen cups of coffee he had. Anywho. Maybe it was a sign of things to come on Wednesday. He said he spent almost a week in the hospital hocked up to machines and feeling every out of it.
He text me Friday after he was out of the hospital, apologized a number of times and said how bad he felt, and again how sorry he was. Apparently he's on lots of pills, antibiotics and has to use an inhaler. He's worn out and exhausted and was sorry he couldn't reach me sooner. He goes back to the doctor this week and is hoping to make it home soon, as he's staying at his moms house.
I figure he MUST be telling the truth because, WOW that would be SOME lie. My thought, if he didn't want to go out with me he was in the clear. No need to contact me again right? So what do you think guys, should i believe him? And give it another shot? I think I'm going to because as i said the first time around, I really thought he was genuine and honestly wanted to go out on a date with me and get to know me. We are back to talking everyday and it just seems like an awful lot of effort if he didn't really want to meet me. So what do you think guys??

LOL! Just kidding. I'm all for giving this dude another try. I mean, even if it is a made up story, it is an awful lot to go through just to get you to see him again! LOL! I'm all for econd chances, but if he doesn't show this time....
give him a shot. If he screws up again, kick him to the curb
